Review: The Odbo BB Cream

Hello guys!

Now I am back with a beauty review. I know that I haven't posted as often as I wanted to, but life got in my way blablabla you know how it goes.

Today, I'm writing about korean beauty product that I've come to adore, I have two products of this brand but right now I'm just going to tell you about The Odbo BB Cream.

This is what I have been using for these days, it's hot outside or I'm just not going anywhere that requires me to get lots of make up on. This is what I'm putting on. 

First, the packaging, it doesn't come with a pump, you just have to push lightly to get it out, it's easy and well it can be messy at times but I don't mind anyway.

The things that I love about this BB Cream is the lightweight on the skin. I feel like I'm not wearing anything at all. Like it says on the package it leaves skin moist and radiant. It's definitely true. It doesn't feel sticky but you can feel your face is so hydrated, it's almost like putting on tinted moisturizer. It doesn't make your look skin oily or dry, it only leave a fresh look and a beautiful glow. The extracts are vegetables extracts and what I feel it does to my face when this is on or off my face is that it softens my skin, makes it smooth and firm and totally moisturized my whole face. 

I don't have any negative things to say about this, but if you are not a fan of sheer color and not so much pigmentation then this is not for you. I usually one who would go for the full coverage ones but the pigmentation of this BB cream in this case is a plus for me. It's so weird because it doesn't have a range of colors, it only has one shade. When I opened it and dotted one on my face I am like oh god this is way too light on me and then when I start blending it in which is super easy to blend in, the color just kind of blend with my own skin tone which is pretty amazing. So the result is just like exactly my skin tone but more even, refined and settle. I think you even can build the coverage up, if you want to but I think you can do with concealer and it just looks so natural and flawless.

It last throughout the day and the product doesn't just aim for those who has sensitive skin because I don't have a sensitive skin but if you do it says to provide protection, but I can't tell of that's true because I'm not experiencing it. Oh and this can be some sort of a primer if you will or skin corrector because it evens out the skin tone and make skin smooth and settle so after that you can apply your favorite foundation on top of this.

Review: NYX Matte Lipstick and Extra Creamy Round Lipstick

So... I made it out alive! haha I have done my universities admission tests and that was why I hardly post for this past week but now I'm back. I have to say I can only pray for it, after all it's all done, I had done my best so whatever the outcome, hopefully it's the best for me. 

Anyway, now I'm back with two of my new favorite NYX Lipsticks. These two has kind of an opposite characteristic, as the one is matte lipstick and the other is really creamy consistency. Let's just get the review started then.

NYX Matte Lipstick in MLS 10 Perfect Red is my favorite red lipstick for now. It is not that really bright red orange-ish neon like shade but this one is real classic red. It's so pigmented, love the pigmentation on this one, it even leave stains on the lips, so maybe after you eat or something this will still be on your lips and it lasts for hours. One thing to note, you need a mirror to apply this, I mean this is not the kind of lipsticks that easy to apply without looking into a mirror because it'll be messy haha so be careful and maybe you even need a lip liner but mirror is essential. As far as the packaging, perhaps because it's a matte lipstick so they make the packaging kind of matte too, which for me kind of make it look cheap (even though it is kind of cheap) for some reasons. The consistency is kind of like butter so it's matte but it's not drying! that's what I love the most about it. So for all you matte lipstick lovers, you need to try this one. These has, I think eleven different colors but from what I've heard about it, the nudes one isn't really likable while the darker ones are great. I don't know why it's different but for this particular one that I have, it's great for me. It's definitely a love it. 

The next one is NYX Lipstick in LSS529 Thalia. So okay, I bought this just a few days ago, because my friend is raving about how this is a great nude color for all skin tone. So, I'm like oh yeah I gotta try this. When I got up to the NYX counter the guy in the counter was like 'oh this is the new Thalia, because we are out of the old ones, this one is more pinkish than the old ones' but I bought it anyway and so I found out that Thalia is is NYX range of extra creamy round lipstick lines. So well firt, I'm not fond of the smell of this but other than I'm totally loving this. When I first tried it, it's like really pale on me, like pale whitey pink with purple undertone maybe. The color grows on me though so I'm diggin it right now, but I also found that this can be a base for another lipstick. It soften your darker lipstick and bring out the color. So this can be used alone or mixed with others. The consistency is really creamy and moisturizing and what I find mostly with these kind of lipstick is they only have sheer pigmentation but this has amazing pigmentation and you totally don't need lipgloss over this. When I use this, the product really melts to my lips but sometimes though I feel like it doesn't really set on my lips, only to the surface but it doesn't really annoy me. This lasts probably 3-4 hours, not that great. As far as the color I'm a sucker for it and not to mention the name of it! haha. It's not a must have but if you're looking for a creamy lipstick and nude color, you can try this. This  is a like it for me

Review: Maybelline Color Tattoo

Hello guys!

How are you? I'm doing good. A little update of my life, I have an admission test for universities in five days, I know I should be hitting the books but I'm human... 

So well instead of drowning myself in a pile of books I decide to do another review, just because I love it! can't say the same about this product though - wait, I don't hate it! If the rating are: hate it, so-so, like it, and love it. This one is a like it! Oh and if you noticed that I have never reviewed things that i don't like, it's because things that I have right now are so lovable. I don't know why I haven't found something that I hate yet but I'll let you know if I ever did! Even though I can't imagine writing a really horrifying blog post on a product (maybe the day will come, but eh..).

So back to this one!

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr by Eyestudio is my first ever gel cream eyeshadow and I actually have heard great things about this, and it is great. This one I have is in the color 35-on and on bronze. I actually was in a hurry when I was purchasing this, I just thought oh it's a brown or bronze color is so pretty but I didn't realize that it's kind of bronze metallic. So it's just kind of glittery. I was disappointed at first because I was kind of expecting a matte color but as I go along it's actually really pretty. 

I kind of start loving this, it's like really easy to put on, it's so pigmented. I actually would say it is not creamy at all, it's kind of solid, so I would use my finger to press onto the product and swipe it a little so the product will melt to the skin of my finger and then swipe it on the lid of my eyes. As simple as that, no need brush (well if you want to use it, that's fine too..), it can go alone like that or it can be as a base, then you can pick a matte eyeshadow over this, it's really beautiful and yes it last like a tattoo (lol not really..) I mean like really looong time, so it's a really perfect one to wear for a party when you're gonna be dancing or formal stuff because it won't crease, it'll be perfect all day and all night. There are bunch of colors to pick also they do have the matte ones! I just took the wrong thing. So watch for this next time you go on to the maybelline counter. This has been in the store for a while so if you haven't got your hand on this I suggest to try it.

Natural - No Make Up - Make up Look!

Hello guys! Today I thought I'll share my natural and no make up, make up look that I've been loving for everyday wear. It's crazy easy, this needs probably like 10 minutes - 15 minutes tops.Wearable for anywhere, like school, work and oh probably mostly when you are late to somewhere and you only have a little bit of time.. this will do! It'll make you look decent in the shortest time. So here's it:

1. Benefit Hello Flawless and Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation : I use these on my clean, moisturized face, Sometimes I use both or just one of them depends how my face, use any foundation that's easy to blend, and use hands to blend in, it'll save time.

2. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer : I apply this under my eyes, all the imperfect spots, also on my eyes lid, with patting this product into your skin.

3. Maybelline Master Brow in grey color : Just use this on my brow, following my natural eyebrows, just fill the eyebrows in, avoid making the arch too high

4. Make Up Academy "Undress Me Too" Palette : Using my eyeshadow brush, I take the color "Lavish" from the palette and just apply it on my crease. I don't wear anymore eyeshadow, just this to add depth on my eyes. After applying, take your blending brush and just blend.

5. Revlon ColorStay Crayon Eyeliner in black brown : apply this on the lash line, apply this thicker on the end of the eye, then pick a blending brush or eye shadow brush then smudge it a little, so it doesn't look harsh and more natural also giving thicker lashes illusion. 

6. Maybelline The Magnum Volum Express Mascara : after curling my lashes and put powder on my lashes (for lashes to appear more fuller) I apply this mascara, I only use one coat to stick to natural look.

7. NYX LipLiner Pencil in Peek-a-Boo Natural and Make Over Lipgloss : I apply lipliner on my lips, the pink is so natural and pretty and add lipgloss on top of it.

So that's how I did it, and it turn out to be like something like this;

You barely can tell I put my make up on, and I don't know this is how it look like on the photo, in real life it's more visible in natural kind of way.

Review: Nature Republic and Esfolio Aloe Vera Gel

Hello guys! I'm back with a beauty review. As you know already, I have been reviewing a lot of products that we all already know but today, I'm going to tell you about products from Korea that I've been loving.

My mom went to Korea a few months ago, and I wasn't too keen on these products that I don't know and never heard of but when I tried it all, I love them all! They really make good beauty products there and my mom said they were all very cheap.

So this is got to be my favorite moisturizer of all time. They are two different brands but I find nothing different at all about the product, the smell, the gel feels all the same to me. So my old one which I'm running out of, is the one on right from Nature Republic, and the new one is from Esfolio. Of course it says the Nature Republic is like 92% of Aloe Vera and the other is like 100% which is probably better but really it's hard to tell the different.

So these products comes with a giant green pot, it contains a lot of product, it can lasts up to 6 months and maybe more. That depends on how much you use it on daily basis because you just want to put this everywhere! The gel itself is a clear no color gel, which I don't know why but always managed to feel cool on the skin and it's very soothing.

There a re lots of benefits of aloe vera gel, like it can helps calm the skin from sunburn, it prevents and treats acnes, a great moisturizer because my face always feels so hydrated after using this. Not only the face you can use it for  body too, your nail even your hair. Do you know that Aloe vera gel is also good for primer before putting make up on? It doesn't even stop there that the result of its treatment even lasts after you stop you using this, leaving your face has this healthy glow and clear. 

I put this on every day after I shower before putting my make up on, as a moisturizer and also a primer and then at night before I go to sleep. The result is magnificent, I don't have anymore acnes, my skin is not dry but not oily either (which my skin is combination of both) because it doesn't have oil in it just hydrating my face. My skin feel so smooth and clear and even a bit brighter.

I'd love to tell you the negatives side of this product too to be fair but I don't have one because I just love it so much!

I don't know if there are any stores near you to try this ones out but there's always online shopping. These are really worth every penny.

Review: Topshop Blush

Hello guys!!

So here I am, on a Monday.... and today I'll be reviewing my favorite blush from Topshop in color Head Over Heels. This is a cream blush, which I like for a blush, it looks so natural. This blush color is so good, I'll have to admit that this is my only blush that I have on me right now, daily basis and for formal occasions. I love it so much, the color is so pretty. What I find a turn off in a blush is that it doesn't match my face color like it doesn't look natural on me, and it's so hard to get a pink color that suits me. This one is doing pretty well, it is not so pigmented, I was kind of disappointed at first, but I realize that it's better that way, so we can build the kind of shade we want on our cheeks. I was having a hard time on how to put this on, I don't like using a brush for cream blush, because it gets sticky. I like to do it with my hand just like the instruction but I don't exactly dot it, I smear it all over then blend it. It makes me really look flushed and makes my face more 'alive'. I notice some glitters in it too, not too much, it doesn't make cheeks glittery and annoying after you blend it, it hardly can be recognized at all, but it makes me have a beautiful natural glow. It really put the color to my cheeks, and makes me look more healthy. So, I'm loving this! it's not even that expensive too so you should go try this! :)

How to and Review: Batiste Dry Shampoo

Hello guys! 

yes, I'm on a roll, I have been posting three days! haha it's fun. Anyway, this  is my How to and Review of Batiste Dry Shampoo.

I am so grateful for this product to be exist because I need it lots of times to save my bad hair day.

I have such an oily scalp I guess, because It's so easy to get my hair looks greasy even the same day I just washed my hair, it gets really annoying.

I've heard all about this dry shampoo things that you don't have to use it with water and dry your hair, it's just as simple as spraying this on your hair and voila! no more greasiness! it totally can take only 5 minutes or less, the result is instant. I do this a lot when I don't have the time to wash my hair or when I'm out during the day and then my hair got greasy this really helps a lot. This product have ones that are smaller size than this so you can bring it in your bag everywhere.

So I got this when I was in UK, I was walking through the aisle of the drugstore and then I saw dry shampoo and the can just caught my eyes! how can it not, the packaging looks cute! haha, so then I bought two straight away. 

This dry shampoo comes with lots of fragrance, mine are Lace and Paisley. These two smells so good. It doesn't smell like shampoo it smells like perfume on my hair haha, but it's definitely refreshing. On the Lace, it says it's seductive and elegant smell and on Paisley it says rich and elegant. These are definitely smells elegant, but I don't know about seductive... never tried to seduce anyone with this before! haha!

So this is how I apply this  to my hair

1. Shake the can

2. Place it about 30 cm from your hair

3. Spray it all over your hair (or just the greasy spot)

4. Put your fingers (or comb) through your hair, massage it a little bit

then you're all ready to go! Also, after I use this on my hair, I feel like it volumnize my hair too, but it does totally do the job of removing greasiness of your hair and make it look like fresh.

Favorite Of The Month: Pinkish Lips

Hello guys! This is my first favorite of the month post! how exciting! haha

Well, I was going out earlier today and applying these on my lips and I just realized how much I love these two that I've been using it everyday this month. So that's what kind of inspires me to do this post.

This month, I use lots of pink and this one is just perfect. This is Rimmel Apocalips in 101 Celestial. People refer this as Lip gloss, but it's so pigmented while most lip glosses that I find is only have a sheer color to it, but this one definitely can go alone, like lipstick and lip gloss in one tube, so it's really simple and easy to use. Usually I just swipe it on my lips and go. It is not sticky and definitely doesn't leave your lips looks like you just ate some greasy foods, it will look like a healthy moisturizing gloss. The consistency is not too like liquid but also not that thick either, depends on how you want it on the lips. The color is so pretty, this product comes with lots of color, there are so many to choose, I heard the nude and the red one are the best, so go try it out haha. This color though had me at hello. It's kind of a soft, bright pink that sometimes it might look a little bit pale but it's so natural on the lips. It also last a long time. I'm not kidding, it might lose the gloss after hours but the color stays. I love it so much, it's suits the color of the spring and summer when you just wanna look natural or in a hurry, this is a friend.

This one is NYX LipLiner Pencil in Peek-a-Boo Natural. (I love the name! haha)

So, I have a habit nowadays, I actually don't really use lip liner to line my lips, I just use it for lipstick. I don't know if a lot of people do that, but I find it fine on me. This lip liner is really creamy but not that pigmented, well at leats not like what I want it to be. I have to swipe it over and over again, but I don't mind really. The color is beautiful, it's kind of nude pink and yes again so natural on the lips, maybe a bit pale sometimes but really just like our lip color. I suggest to put on some lip balm first before putting this on,because it's creamy but not moisturizing. It's almost kind of a matte lipstick. I'm loving this though, it's perfect for everyday wear.

These are the swatches of the products above, the one on the top is NYX lipliner in Peek-a-Boo Natural and the next one is Rimmel Apocalips. I find it, a bit different (probably from the lighting) because I find these two a bit lighter on the lips.

So pick one, matte or glossy or maybe just both and mix them together, either way it'll be great ha!

Review: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Hello guys!
I'm back with another review, I've reviewed like bunch of things of cleansing product like a week ago which you can find it here. Today though, I'm gonna tell you about my favorite concealer in the whole world. This one is from Collection (Previously Collection 2000).
It's called Lasting Perfection and guys it is perfection.

The first time I've heard about this, surely from one of beauty guru from UK because the first time I purchased this product is in the drugstore in UK (I believe it was Edinburgh). Well, the product come with this little tube and as you can see in the picture I've repurchased this when I was in Singapore and go to the drugstore and I just can't believe they have it there and just bought it right away. Unfortunately we still don't have it here yet in Indonesia.

This concealer is really like thick and creamy and I love that because I've had a bad experience with a liquid concealer that comes a bit too runny and when I spread and dab it into my skin it just does nothing. The thickness and creaminess of this concealer is amazing, because it's so easy to blend in still but it has a really good coverage for blemishes, redness and under eye. Some concealers are great for redness and blemishes but can't do really well with under eye darkness but this one is perfect for everything also for eyeshadow base.

My shade is the darkest shade of all, so that means it only has 4 shades to choice (fair, light, medium and deep). This one blends perfectly for me but sometime I feel like it's even a bit lighter (happens when your country has sun all year long haha) but it's not too bad because it makes my eyes look awake.

And actually, I have never really counted for the exact 16 hours but it does last for a very long time, I've gone out during the day and come home at night and I saw it hang on my skin pretty well, it kind of fade a bit, but not too much that it still covers everything, just not like the first hours after you applied it.

I'd recommend it for anyone really. It's one of the must-have, well if not the must-have then it's definitely on the must-try category if you haven't tried it. It really helps a lot when you just don't want to wear lots of make up but you want to cover up a bit and you just apply this and you're good to go.

Body and Face Works!

Hello guys! Welcome to my first beauty post ever.
So these are products that I use to clean my face and body daily. I think these brands are so easy to find so if you are interested, I believe you can get it in almost anywhere in the world.

So anyway, let's get started, the first one is Bioderma. This product cleanses, remove make up and soothe the skin. The first time I knew about this is probably from Tanya Burr's video on youtube when she went to Paris with Fleur. I got it when I was in Singapore with my friends when we went to the drugstore, I saw it and I just bought it right away. They have much bigger bottle than what I have there but I decided to buy that one because I just wanted to try if it really as awesome as the rumors claim it to be. Well, I think it works really well on my face, it's so easy, just in one swipe I can feel my make up coming off. It doesn't feel harsh on the skin and it has no oil and fragrance either. Although, It doesn't get that easy when it comes to waterproof mascara but I'll take it. So, if you get the chance, just give it a try!

The next one is my all time favorite toner. This one is The body Shop Vit. E Hydrating Toner, I use it after I wash my face and this toner takes off all the dirt that my face wash can't get so this is so useful for a deep cleansing. Two things that I love about this product is that it hydrates the skin, so it's kind of moisturizing your face while cleaning your face at the same time, and it feels refreshing! it has a lovely smell to it, kind of flowery and also it doesn't contain any alcohol (unlike most toners that I've used) so it doesn't feel harsh at all on skin and you can use it anytime. However, this product doesn't do great for make up remover, you have to swipe it over and over again before you feel it really is clean but other than that, it does do the job on cleaning the face!

This is my face wash for almost two years now, it's The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Face Wash. This one prevents blemishes and also cures it. When you rub it on your face for a little bit, you'll feel a bit hot on your face (I'd like to think that happens when it works the magic) and it has definitely strong fragrance to it that I wish I could avoid but the result of this face wash makes it all worth it. I definitely have a clearer skin after I use this but also It will dry your face because it's aimed for oily skin that cause blemishes but I have a combination skin so it's good that I apply the hydrating toner after this.

The last is my new favorite body wash, I got it when I was in Singapore, I went to Bath and Body Works and went a bit crazy over there because we don't have it here in Indonesia. I literally couldn't smell anything when I got out of there. This shower gel is called Velvet Sugar. It has vitamin E in it, it definitely smells amazing! I'd recommend this for those who like the sweet smell and the packaging and the color is just so cute! haha it had me at pink color. It works some magic on my skin, it gets my skin looks healthier it definitely moisturize it and leave a really good smell on it. I really can't get over how much a fan I am of how this shower gel smells. it's sooo good.
